Dispersed camping off forest service rd. Room for up to 6 vehicles parked tightly. Or a couple vehicles and 4+ tents. Fairly level for the surrounding terrain. A little unmarked trail goes off down the ridge from this spot. Please pack out your trash!!

Still a solid camp. Seems cleaner than our last visit! Keep packing out your trash. This time we explored some more and found that if you continue down the road south east, you'll pass some exposed cliff faces that folks climb on from time to time, and if you keep going you'll hit walker falls! That was a real gem, could be a game changer on a hot day. It's worth noting this is not a site with a tent marker, so a ranger could possibly give you a hard time for staying here overnight. But it's got a 100% success rate for us now with 2 consecutive nights, 3 nights total. For this reason I'd discourage any fires. Yes there is evidence of others having fires here but the fire rings are definitely unofficial and/or nonexistent so probably best to skip it. We also discovered on this stay that you can chase the sun around the campsite with a solar panel if you have a collapsible one, or catch a few rays for a couple hours if you have a vehicle mounted one. All in all a solid site once again, and a great location as always!
