Pick whatever spot you like, one open area and other spots in between trees. Turn into the forest a little after Pine Road turns to dirt. Very quiet and dark, only one other van there the night we stayed. Spotty service but it worked okay. Not sure the rules for NF land so look them up if planning to stay more than a few nights.
