Elk City / Clinton KOA Journey

Address: Foss, Oklahoma

Cost: Free

About

When you're traveling, it's a special treat to end your day at a place with standards you can trust - like this KOA. It's just off I-40, halfway between Elk City and Clinton. This is Route 66 country, and both towns have museums dedicated to the Mother Road. From the campground, it's a short walk to Clinton Lake for sand bass and crappie fishing. You're 11 miles from Foss Lake, also known for bass fishing. Lucky Star Casino and two great golf courses are within a 15-minute drive. Visit Stafford Air & Space Museum or Washita Battlefield National Historic Site, both within an hour's drive. At KOA, park your RV on a long, level, paved and shady RV Site; pitch a tent; or stay in a Camping Cabin or Deluxe Cabin. Relax at the pool, enjoy the play-ground and let your pet romp in the fenced pet area. Have breakfast or dinner (in season) in the dining room or at your site. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 90 feet. Your hosts: Hank and Rhonda Twyman.
