Base Camp Kennicott

This is a bit of an interesting camp ground. They charge $30/night and it’s essentially just dry dispersed camping. They have a large rocky area with fire rings and a few picnic tables along the lake and river. There is one pit toilet for the whole area so it’s probably best if you have your own toilet. The view’s are fantastic but it seems expensive for what it is. Unfortunately it’s the only option here. They also offer $10/night parking in their gravel lot. It looked like a few people were stealth camping there to save $20/night. No fresh water, dump station or electric hook ups.
