Phipps Park

Amazing park to camp. Tents (dry camp) available in platforms along a canal. Bring a pushcart for your stuff to cross the platform towards the tents, unless you like to walk and carry it all together n yourself or don’t have a family to carry many things for. Cars park a bit away from the tents across the walkway. Tents no.1 and no.19 are the closest ones to the walkway towards the car but also the ones with more foot traffic and you will hear all the footsteps- NOTE: These are also the ones designated for wheelchair accessibility. No electricity but bbq pit AND ground fire pit. $35 same day reservation for us on this date. It rained so heavily on us at night and we had no leaks, no water on the floor and we were very comfortable with our kids. Mosquitos at sunrise and sunset year round as per Florida nature. It is close to the highway and you will hear the bigger wheelers very clearly but most road noise did not bother us, but be aware it’s not fully quiet/ isolated from road noise. Otherwise full hook up on an RV in a separate section closer to the entrance. Very little privacy between RV spots.
