Conveniently located 45 minutes west of Phoenix and you don’t have to drive too long on the dirt road to get to the camp spots. There are tons of spots (different roads from the main road too). Open view on both mountains and desert, cacti. There is a bit of smell sometimes but I wasn’t bothered by flies (October). Easy to go on a walk or a run. A lot of campsites have a fire ring. Its not the most wonderful BLM ever but no complaints and I recommend! Cell service was good with both AT&T and T-Mobile.

Much less crowded now that the weather is warming up. Trash has been cleaned up too. Good cell service.
