Quiet street in between commercial and residential area. No height restrictions in this area, few other vans parked in the area as well. Close walk to the water and all the great stores in the area.

New overnight restrictions over 84in tall, or 84in wide, or 25ft long no parking from 2am-6am anywhere in Oceanside, it says it on some blocks, but not others, but they can enforce it anywhere. That being said, they don’t seem to mind if you park on the street if you’re more than a mile from the beach, but just know that the new rule that went into effect early 2022 prohibits “oversized vehicles” from 2-6am. This town has changed for the worse. They’re more worried about money now. If you try to talk to them about the changes in street parking they boast about how much better the streets are with less people living on them. They target the houseless with their newest street rules. Ok rant over. I use to live here before I became full time van living and it’s just sad to see.
