About
Beautiful dispersed campsite in a stand of cottonwood trees next to a rock outcropping. Private and secluded with views of the Collegiate Peaks. Space for several rigs.
The road in is dirt and the last mile is rough and bumpy, but should be easily accessible by most rigs when the road is dry. We made it in our 2wd Westy. RV’s may struggle in the last 1/2 mile.
There is one fire ring that was full of trash with a big piece of burnt log. Fire rings are not trash cans. Please pack out all trash. We packed out the waste from the fire ring in an effort to leave it better.
Please use only the existing fire ring to avoid creating new burn scars on the earth. Remember, gather only down sticks the size of your forearm and burn all wood to ash.
