Methodist Mountain & CR110 (Little Rainbow Trailhead West)

This is the Little Rainbow Trail Western trailhead parking lot for the Salida Trail system on Methodist Mountain. There are no signs (and no information online) regarding parking restrictions in this lot - meaning, this may be a viable overnight parking location (we slept in our vehicle and no one bothered us). It may not be legal to sleep here, use your judgement. Parking space & turn around space are limited: no room for trailers or 5th wheels - this location is best suited to vehicles of no more than 20ft long. This is a very clean, nicely maintained trailhead - lets follow LNT practices and keep it clean. There are no trash cans or bathrooms - pack out all of your trash/waste. Avoid digging cat holes here as it is a very high-use area.
