We’re self contained in the van so we paid the $5 parking fee and parked overnight in the lot. Not sure if that’s really what the intended, but it worked out great for us. The rangers open everything at 8 am. We drove to a different spot to make and enjoy our coffee down by the lake. Super quiet.
