I live in the Bay Area and whenever I need to be in the city this is where I park. I always feel safe, there’s other vans often parked along the way. Waking up to the ocean sounds in the background is great. It’s just a hop over the dune to be on the beach. Traffic sounds stop around ten and picked up around 6. I like this also because there’s not a sidewalk on the side of my car! People still walk by on the grass/sand but less so than the opposite sidewalk.

Plenty of parking on the side along with other campers. Quiet area no disturbance whatsoever and bathrooms walking distance. Clean...
