Palo Duro Canyon State Park is home to the Grand Canyon of Texas, the second largest canyon in the country. There are six camping areas in the park plus one group site. This location, Fortress Cliff, is a tent-only spot. Water is available in the campground, but not at each site. Restrooms with showers are 1/2 - 2 miles away. Shade structures available.

Only cool place I’ve seen in Texas. Red clay canyons right outside of Amarillo. The site was $24 a night plus $8 per person which ...
