A good spot to stay approaching New Orleans and a lot cheaper compared to some of the other options in the area. Cash only - was $28 for the night. Gated, feels safe enough and a lot quieter than a truck stop.

Awesome campground right off of I-10. We stopped here for the night on our way west, when you arrive of no one is at the office call the phone number to get the gate code and then grab an empty site. Pay in cash via envelope that gets dropped at the office. There are a bunch of nature trails here and a nature center that wasn't open when we were here. The bathrooms are not great but we just used our own. A good number of sites starlink would work, we stayed in site 29 and starlink worked well enough for streaming video. In other sites there would be a much better view of the sky. Right down the road is a target and a large race track gas station. We would definitely stay here again.
