Two Bedroom Country Lodge

This Mountain View Lodge is located on our sister property about a mile from Gavel Falls and sits high above the Soda Lake Wildlife Refuge with a bird's eye view of the Refuge and a view as far as the eye can see. The Lodge is located in the God's Country Mountain View Campground that includes 53+ acres of private campground that will soon be home to both luxury RV campsites along with cabins that will be constructed along the high ridge. Imagine waking up in the mornings to a view where only the eagles sore and in Louisiana! Many would not believe this view exists, but a night in the Lodge will reassure you that Louisiana also has high points and beautiful panoramic views where our guests can get a glimpse of a herd of deer grazing in the grasslands below the lodge or geese swimming in the large fishing pond down below. Take a stroll in the trails of the 53 acre campground or venture on down into the Soda Lake Wildlife Reserve or take a canoe down the 12-Mile Bayou. The Lodge features bedrooms on each end with a huge living room that contains a large family picnic table and a full kitchen, complete with a dishwasher and all stainless new appliances. There is a washer and dryer in the Lodge for laundry as well. You can enjoy morning coffee on the large back porch. God's Country Campground is a gated campground with an electronic gate.
