All along this road there is dispersed camping (probably 8-10). Most of these spots are right next to the creek which is great for some white noise while sleeping. There typically is a fire ring (via rocks) and a spot for a tent. Most spots, your vehicle will have a slight pull-off from the gravel road (can get super dusty, so keep your windows ups if you want to keep the interior clean. You can either get water from the stream and filter it or drive over to Harmon Den Campsire where there is a well to pump from, as well garbage cans here. Typically, my AT&T service ranges from 1-2 bars. If on Max Patch, I could get 3-4. But most of the weekdays, I drove toward I-40 and parked on the National Forest Road to work as I got 3-4 LTE bars via T-Mobile Hotspot and about 3-4 via AT&T. Great location to hiking along the Appalachian Trail.
