South Shore Picnic Area (Diamond Lake)

This popular picnic area is next to the South Shore Boat Ramp [http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/umpqua/recreation/recarea/?recid=63606] and Broken Arrow Campground [http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/umpqua/recreation/recarea/?recid=63460]. The covered picnic area has a large number of picnic table and a sideboard with sink on one end. A children’s play area is within site of the picnic tables with a restroom just a short walk on a paved trail. Water is available across the parking lot. An added enticement is the lake’s shore within a short walk.
