The Bear Creek Trail is primarily a winter trail. From its start at Nome Creek Road, this trail climbs gradually to cross a ridge before paralleling the Beaver Creek drainage. It crosses Champion Creek and Bear Creek shortly before reaching its end at Richards Cabin. The Bear Creek Trail is not recommended for summer use. It is extremely boggy, muddy, difficult terrain.
