Quiet beach camping on the Gulf of Mexico shore. The sand is firm enough to drive on. There were a few other campers (vans, RVs, tent) but there is plenty of room to spread out. We did enjoy the peace and quiet and calming sound of waves. Wouldn’t get in the water because it’s dark and there are oil rigs in the distance :/ Be prepared, the mosquitos come out in full force at night (we were here in early April). We stayed 1 night. Would have stayed longer if it weren’t for a crack in our door that let all the mosquitos in at night.

Not bad for free. Don’t get stuck in the sand. Water is warm. Peaceful and quiet. Recommend
