About
Very clean and quiet NF campground in protected forest that serves as a bear sanctuary. 5miles from town, dirt road accessible by 2WD. Sites are first come first served, $10/night at pay station. Please be honest and pay the fee so the campground can be maintained for future use. No cell signal, no running water, no dump station. Vault toilets and trash cans are available. All sites are mostly level and long enough for 15-20ft rig. Tent camping sites also available. Picnic tables and fire rings at all sites. Road runs along Curtis Creek, wild and delayed harvest fishing areas (except where posted). Season ends Jan 4, 2021 (gates will be closed) and likely doesn’t reopen till late March. Hillman Brewery in Old Fort has great beer and food.
