We parked here for some hiking and ended up staying overnight. We had no knocks or issues. We've heard there's no sleeping in your car overnight, but no ranger came by to check. Maybe we got lucky? We have no light showing through our windows and the front cab is walled off. I think you can get away with it in a pinch. No cell signal. Water refill nearby at Box Canyon parking lot.
