Got here late in the afternoon on a Tuesday in July. There were plenty of spots to choose from and actually the two best spots (an alpine spot not far down the road from 32 on you right) and the spot at Red Creek were unoccupied. Hiking was great. Solitude a-plenty. A great dispersed camping area!

Beautiful area with many level spots that have fire rings. Reception can be spotty but it is there.
