Haleakala highway pullout

Several pullouts located on the road up to Haleakalā state park entrance. Perfect for sunsets. This is located outside of the national park. There are several cattle guards along this highway. The park rangers said they will ticket overnight parking after the cattle guards but no jurisdcation before the last one before the park entrance. There are some steep drop offs in some of the spots, can be windy and cold. Saw several other vehicles doing the same thing. No issues at all here
