Mat-su River park

This is located in Palmer. Next to the matsu river. There is a section for actual paid camping but this is a great hang out to use during the day until 10pm. Bathrooms, showers, playground, hiking, grass, picnic tables. Great place for yoga, art, cooking. In the parking lot you dont need to be too stealth but dont pull out your camping chairs/ awning ect. There are covered pavilions to hang out at. I enjoy to spend some time here and relax. Its still a parking lot but a great one to branch off of. Safe and family/ dog friendly.
