So we found this spot among with a handful of other pull offs off the 101 from iOverlander app. We were fine overnight with a few other vans. We did get a knock around 8:30am from a ranger saying overnight parking is NOT allowed in any pull out along the 101. Maybe they don't patrol during the evening but give warnings in the morning to try to stop future overnights.
