Malheur Field Station
Adress: Princeton, Oregon
Cost: Free
About
Non-Profit field station near the wildlife refuge; about 30 miles from Burns. Houses/dorms/bunkhouses to rent for the night or a few FHU spots. Hookups are a little strange, obviously designed by someone not familiar with how rvs hook up, so be sure to bring an extra extension cord. Water not drinkable, but free drinking water provided in one of the buildings. Awesome spot for bird watching. Beautiful views and a good place to rest on this side of the state. Gravel road from highway into the station
