A park a little north of downtown Portland. Have parked here a dozen times with no issue. There are other vans chilling here all the time. Right along a park with a porta potty and actual bathroom (closes for winter). Park has playground, hoops, baseball field and a lot of grass to roll around in or take your dog to. Overnight Parking
Was pretty good and felt safe, other Van's were parked there. Though one was booted and at 6 am I woke up to see an officer pull up behind me, sit for a few seconds and then drive off. Creeped me out a bit but other than that I slept soundly even with the bus rolling by.
Very nice spot quiet low profile
Pros: -Bathrooms with running water -Porta potties -Splash pad and jungle gym -Hammock worthy trees -Lots of grass for a picnic or laying out with your pup -great service (ATT) -nearby ice cream place and restaurants -I easily fit my 10ft tall, 23ft+ rig in a sunny spot for my solar to get some juice. -clean (KEEP IT THIS WAY- utilize all the trash cans. Clean up after yourself and others so we don’t lose this spot) Cons: -Bathrooms lock at 9-10p (but porta potties were still open) -bathrooms have no doors on stalls -don’t look at the ceiling -definitely will have some road noise as you parked on the side of the street, but wasn’t too bad
Along neighborhood but pretty quiet. City bus passed by regularly. Biggest plus it's a block away from Presso Coffee. A super dope specialty coffee shop. With amazing and sweet baristas.
Shady park with restroom. The restroom closes at night. It's like a poor people RV park cops gave up. Loads of freedom, if your a night owl and stay up all night. Lock up and watch your rig.
