Seems like you have to pay now and display a yellow receipt in your car… since when was this made official? I’m so confused. There’s no amount shown to pay?

Great spot in the rocks outside of Moab! First come first serve campsites off the gravel road - it gets pretty washed out after the first permanent toilet building but worth the solitude! Pretty busy during our stay at the beginning of May.

Free camping all along this road in BLM land. Many of the sites have stone fire pits, as a bonus. Porta-potties scattered throughout as well. First couple hundred feet are pretty rough but totally doable for all vehicles. Once you get past that point the going gets much easier and you will find many campsites before and after this one. Took us ~12 min at ~6mph to get here from the highway. Beautiful, quiet, and safe.
