This large gravel parking lot behind a football field and next to the trash / recycling drop off. Nothing special but in season there are bathrooms nearby and you have some amazing views of the mountain range which is currently being snowed upon.

Great place to spend a day or two within Leadville. The fairground is 1 mile from downtown. There's trash bins for recycling but other trash requires a bought trash bag.

Stayed here overnight, there were 3 other sprinter vans too. Huge gravel lot with a nice soccer field for running/recreation. Quiet and a Great view of the mountains.
