Pretty quiet for being in the middle of the city. We saw a few other vans and vehicle dwellers parked nearby. Felt fairly safe, would/will park again.

This was one of my go-to spots last year when I was doing a long-term assignment in Portland. Sadly now it doesn't look like they have a porta potty in the park and their bathroom might be locked for the winter. But typically there's a bathroom available here. Also trash cans here, a playground, basketball courts, picnic tables. And warmer weather it's a pretty lively place in mornings with lots of different groups of people doing different things it's fun to people watch here and a pretty quiet night. You're right up against a neighborhood on the other side of the street so I would be extra courteous and staying quiet and only being there for short periods of time. Don't want to overstay your welcome. But have never had an issue parked here and I've stayed 20 plus nights over my long visits.
