Slept in the gravel parking lot at the overlook with no issue I think another van pulled in after me and left before I left. but wanted to share about the "wild horses" that are next to this lot.... I worked with some people at a mustang sanctuary in New York who work to rescue mustangs from BLM round ups. The roundups themselves are dangerous to the animals causing severe injuries, extreme stress, trauma separation from their young and even death. Also, many of these "sales" end up with the animal going to a slaughterhouse or stuck on tiny bit of land with no room to move around. but people get paid to keep the horses so it doesn't matter to them and then they'll sell it off to a slaughterhouse where they'll get paid again... Look up the mustang valley sanctuary in W Fulton New York. They are doing great things ♥️
