Entrance was very deep, soft sand when I was here. Could not go in. Would be great during times when the dunes haven't covered the drive.

Pulled up around 10:00 p.m. and just parked on the beach. Stayed until 2:00 in the afternoon the next day. The little BJ access area has a ticket booth but it was closed and never had to pay anything. The little ticket booth says $12 for beach access But if you show up lay in the evening you're good to go I guess. Quiet in the morning but picks up pretty quickly gets busy. You can park feet away from the ocean and stay away from the sand dunes also be careful because it's sea turtle nesting area 🐢🌊🥚🏖️🐚
