Honestly this spot would be amazing but people have ruined it. There’s glass everywhere to the point that I didn’t even feel safe letting my dog walk around. The road in is super sketch and i wouldn’t take anything like a Skoolie on the last 100 ft turn off to get there. It was pretty unnerving in our 159 WB Promaster but we were fine. No cell signal even with our booster. We had 1 bar but couldn’t do anything with it. Woke up to amazing views of Rainier and the surrounding areas but we left to a spot farther down the road that was clean.

Awesome free spot with panorama VIEWS. Full Mt. Rainer view and when that's behind the clouds, you've got other mountains and a pond to gaze at. Of note: Obviously used as a target practice site. There are spent shells everywhere, we didn't bother trying to pick them all up. Some trash - pls be kind to the next person that uses the site and clean up after yourself! Also, the short road/path to get to this site from the main forest road is a tiny bit tippy with a drop off on one side, scout it out first to make sure you're comfortable doing it in whatever rig you have.
