Not for large rigs and road is a bit rocky and uneven. You do go through a gate. If you can get to the spot it's super worth it. You'd surrounded by massive Clif faces all around you. Service is a spotty in this area or at least down in the creek bed.
Great spot! I couldn't make it all the way as the incline into the wash you have to cross had ruts way too deep for my Promaster. There are still tons of great spots on both sides of Saddleback. The gate you have to pass through is very narrow. I squeezed through with my mirrors folded in but still touched the sides. JonStegenga finds all the best places and I just learned abouthis mission. Look him up if you can. Every time I think I found a killer spot no one has been to he's already beat me to it. All the way from CA to AZ so far.
