Parking for some 8 vehicles. A few trails around Lake Placid start right there so cars usually arrive after 8-9am and leave around 6-7pm. It's a super quiet spot great to spend the night. There are no facilities but it's only a couple of minutes drive from the main road where you will find a supermarket, cafeteria, restaurants and a gas station (no diesel).

Just adding a comment: we were informed by a forest ranger that it was illegal to camp within 150ft of a trailhead. Just throwin...
