About
This is organized camping with tent/RV (no hook-up) sites, lean-to’s, and cabins. We stayed on a weekend in July. It was very busy and pretty noisy. There was no vegetation at all between our site (#47) and the site next to us (#46). It was like sharing one moderate sized site. It was noisy and quiet hours were not enforced by park staff. The roads are gravel and since your tent is so close to them on the small site the sound of cars going by all through the night is jarring. On Saturday night we counted 17 cars going past us at ALL hours of the night. The beach here is not sandy, it is rocks, but still offers good access to water. There is a nice playground for kids. The bathrooms were a bit on the older side and were not kept very clean. We are glad we were only here 2 nights.
