This is one of the most glorious spots I’ve ever stayed. Insanely beautiful views, perfect AT&T service for working, adorable wildlife and awesome little hikes. The nearest restroom is pretty far but it’s just a short 15min drive to Grand Junction and even less to Whitewater. The road up has been reported very rough but when I came up it was just your typical BLM dirt road(bumpy but doable). It’s not possible to get here from the actual parking lot, access to this area is best done up the road for Telluride Stone. Before you get to the fence for their property there is a BLM road with a sign for the Conservation Area.
