About
One of our favorite spots so far. It’s about 7 miles up a gravel road which is mostly well maintained but has some wash out spots and can get a little steep. We managed fine in our 2WD promaster - did slip in a few spots but we have new tires. It was also raining when we went in and rained the night before we left so that didn’t help. There is about 5 dispersed spots on the way up to this spot but all were taken by people who looked like long termers. We got up to this spot on a Friday night and were the only people there at 8pm. 6/7 spots. They are primitive sites so set up to park and place tent but all spots fit our van fine. Only saw two other campers on the weekend. Nice creek, walked a trail for a few miles and walked the creek back. caught a couple trout for lunch. There is service until about a mile from these sites. Trees block sun for most of the day so solar is not very reliable for long term but it did good enough for a weekend trip.
