Great view and no trouble parking overnight. Kids in pickups hanging out and drinking in the early evening when we were there, but it emptied out by bed time. Not much traffic on the pass at night.

I’m gonna go ahead and say this spot is the world’s best lake overlook/pullout with a floating outhouse. Even if it didn’t have a pontoon-a-potty view, this is a pretty good spot for the price (zero dollars). Stayed two consecutive nights and had some kindly fellow campers as neighbors for one of them. Yes, a random or two came by to partake in the devil’s lettuce, but they had no interest in the campers. It was entirely quiet by 9:30-10, and that includes vehicles on Highway 150. The pullout is on a curve in the road and is roughly the size of a football pitch. Though you can indeed see the aforementioned Titanic toilet, they are not accessible from shore—they are literally installed for boat-in access only. Which is to say there are no services—water, toilets, anything. Full boondock situation—no trash cans, so pack it out, boyscout!
Nice view, and flat, but, as mentioned before, seems to be a party place. Two cars pulling up next to our van at ten pm to drink and get high was a little unnerving. Thankfully, they were quiet—a car earlier was not. Pretty far from any facilities or stores. Would return.
