City Park (next to Zoo)

This has become one of my go-to spots while I've been in Denver long term. It's on the back side of city park right next to the zoo so sometimes you get some fun animal noises like parrots at random times of the day. But it's a perfect spot over all. It's in one of the least busy areas of the park and there is a spot between two large trees so your hidden even more. Perfect area to spend a day or two but I'd move after that. Mostly I just stay here evening/night. Keep the area clean. There is a ton of green space near by ad well as a brand new play ground, tennis courts, wall ball, and walking paths. Bathrooms are closed for the winter but there is a porta potty outside the bathrooms (1-2 minute walk away) there is a shelter near by with picnic tables and two grills. Make sure to leave the area better then you found it :) honor the land you occupy.
