HPPA

HPPA Campground has an access rating of easy to moderate for smaller classes of recreational vehicles, and moderate to difficult for larger vehicles due to a sharply angled approach and tree cover, and can accommodate potentially up to 8 units. HPPA is in a wooded area, located right on Beaver Creek. There is a horseshoe pit and a concrete slab around a large fire-pit. The campground has two additional smaller fire-pits and the recently updated concrete outhouse is ADA accessible. A new pavilion was installed during the summer of 2016, and has been wired to power lights and electrical outlets from a self-provided generator. The campground has excellent creek access, and is within walking distance of several access points for the scenic and historic Bear Paw Nature Trail. This campground is within 10 miles of other hiking trails and the RV Dump site.
