Alfalfa Market BLM

Address: Bend, Oregon

Cost: Free

About

A little slice of BLM land on the east side of Bend. No road sign, just a cattle guard off the road that leads to a small dirt parking lot. Room for about 7 vehicles. There is a creek that flows down to a pond that is a nice walk/ bike ride. Met some locals walking their dogs, they mentioned to leave the turn around open, as some people bring horse trailers in. A few people seem to camp here regularly. Had a peaceful night, nice alternative to the forest on the east side of town. Could be a good option in wet weather.
