Equestrian Campground

Nestled by Oaks and located near the San Joaquin River Gorge Nature Trail the Equestrian Campground is available on a first come-first serve basis, reservations are not accepted for this campground. Three campsites with picnic tables, fire pits, and access to a portable toilet. Campsites are accessible and reached via a primitive hardened path, located close to the un-paved parking area. Drinking water and garbage receptacles are available at this campground (electricity is not). Please practice Leave No Trace and Tread Lightly principles to recreate responsibly on your public lands. This site has corrals for equestrian use. The corrals are popular so you may want to call the Gorge office at 559-855-3492 for availability information. Equestrian Campsite* $25
