Crosho Lake is a popular spot to canoe, kayak, wade, shore fish, use float tubes, small boats, (see regulations below) fly or spin fish. Fish species are cutthroat and grayling.
Dispersed camping opportunities with views of the lake and the Flat Tops.
BOAT REGULATIONS: Electric trolling motors are allowed. Internal combustion engines are not allowed. (Combustion engines only allowed at Yamcolo Reservoir on Forest Service Road 900 in Yampa).
AMENITIES: One vault toilet, 10 undeveloped dispersed campsites (no water, no fire grates or picnic tables) . The lake can be reached by vehicle or by foot from your campsite whent he reservoir is not partially drained.
DIRECTIONS: Located 10 miles northwest of Yampa at the base of the Little Flat Tops towards Dunckley Pass. From Yampa take Cty Rd 17 to Cty Rd 15 and then take a left onto Forest Service Road 930, where you will see a small sign for the Crosho Lake turn off.
FIRE RESTRICTIONS: Please check with the Yampa Ranger Station to find out if there are fire restrictions.
