This lake is accessed by foot from the Trout Lake Trail Head by the Hoodoo Canyon Trail #17 [http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/colville/recarea/?recid=67990]that intersects with the Emerald Lake trail and is just a short 4.8 mile hike. Although there are no fish in the lake, wildlife and wildflowers are abundant.
