Willow springs camping is 12 miles north of Moab. We get decent cell service (Verizon) in certain campsites. Can get quite muddy if it has rained or has thawing snow from winter. Rough, bumpy road in, but mild. It’s peak season is spring time April-June where it’s packed pretty densely with weekend campers for events held in town. It...

Ended up living here for over a week! Amazing free spot to come home to every night, getting to pick new sites was fun! Just make sure you park your vehicle in an aerodynamic way based on the wind that night.
Camping still available but it does ask for some payment now. Road was a little bumpy camp sites were plentiful but we didn’t have the best stay as tent campers, saw 2 venomous Arizona bark scorpions. Ended up sleeping in the car. You’d probably be ok if you set your tent up, got in and sealed up before dark but we were not so fast or lucky. Dumpster on site and porta potties available.
Fine site! We arrived around 5:30pm (in March) and there were only a few spots left. Crowded but not too loud! Some spots we’re definitely 4x4 required.
Great free spot with beautiful views. Yes, it’s busy but there is so much space it was easy to get away from folks. Super quiet at night. WiFi doesn’t work so well when everyone is on it.
Easy to access, huge with tons of spot, some have trees/shade. Close to Moab and really close to Arches. Beautiful views. T-Mobile was working for me. The only downside is the background noise of the road near by.
Tons of open spots! Decent views. Road is kinda rough but we were fine in our van without 4x4. I could see it being tricky if it had rained. It goes back pretty far. Decent cell service towards the front of the road and gets worse as you go back.
It’s quite but very dusty! Make sure anything outdoor is tied down
Decent BLM spot close to Moab but it’s getting very crowded. Lots of spots (40-50) but they were mostly full on a Sunday evening when we arrived. Ended up having to share a spot with a couple other vans. Cell service is available but seems to be almost unusable during the day due to the amount of people and lack of bandwidth.
Beautiful location with lots of spots to park. Porta potties and bathrooms scattered throughout. Lots of people parked around but it was very quiet our entire visit. ATT/Verizon worked at some spots but not others.
We had a great time staying a few nights here in late jan. Plenty of other campers but plenty of spots open. Some spots only good for high clearance vehicles but lots of spots were accessible to any vehicle. Wouldn't feel great about coming out here during or aftwr a rain. Thw pit toilets made life a lot easier, and the road noise was neglidgible if you go back far enough. Verizon signal was spotty theoughout but good enough for a call or a bit of mobile data. Fantastic views of the La Sal mtns and super close to Arches, Moab, and Camyonlands.
Beautiful spot with tons of spots and portapotties everywhere but like others said, it gets pretty busy at night. AT&T LTE/5G covers basically the entire area but I ran into a few very slow load times throughout the day, not enough to deter me from staying on a workday though.
Convenient spot to set up camp. During the season with it is usually super packed and loud later into the night with generators and people enjoying themselves. It has toilets scattered throughout the area and if you drive way in can often times find a semi decent spot.
Nice quite area! I have 2-3 bars on AT & T so it’s nice not having to travel into town for remote work.
Even in the off-season there were a fair number of vans and campers around. I arrived around 8pm, and all the dedicated campsites with fire rings were occupied, but I pulled into a very wide/flat camping area where there were a couple of other vans. Close to town and easy to find a spot to sleep for the night, but unless you arrive early, don’t plan on having a fire.
Ton of places to park, but can get crowded. Close to Arches
