Accessible by road for only a few decades, our tiny surf town feels a little bit behind in the very best ways. In the relaxed pace of life, the warm neighborliness of Tofitians, and—especially—in the untouched natural environment. You can feel Tofino’s magic most acutely in her acres of coastal rainforest; on her miles and miles of ruggedly pristine beaches—widely considered to be some of North America’s most beautiful. One of the many things to love about Surf Grove camping is that it’s about slowing down. You tend to notice more here—like the smell of campfire, lush forest, salty ocean air. It’s in the taste of a perfect s’more or the first refreshing sip of post-surf IPA. You notice sounds like crashing waves and laughing kids.
