Big Marvine Peak #2258

The Big Marvine Peak Trail is 1.7 miles long. It begins at East Marvine Trail #1822 [https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/whiteriver/recarea/?recid=40777] and ends at the summit of Big Marvine Peak within Flat Tops Wilderness [http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/whiteriver/recarea/?recid=81112]. The trail switchbacks up the steep north side of Big Marvine Peak, climbing to the eastern point and its nearly vertical 200' drop. The trail then heads west on relatively flat terrain to the 11,879' summit on the west end of the peak.
