Vail Pass/Tenmile Canyon National Recreation

The Vail Pass/Tenmile Canyon National Recreation Trail begins at Gore Creek Campground [http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/whiteriver/recarea/?recid=41347] and ends at Copper Mountain. This paved trail starts where Bighorn Road ends, follows what used to be old Highway 6 over Vail Pass, and then descends to Copper Mountain. It is a popular biking trail, so be careful to stay on the right side of the trail as bikers descend toward you.
